Founded by the Original Law Maverick

Our founding attorney, the late Jim Beasley, was a trailblazer, a legendary Philadelphia trial lawyer nationally recognized for his success. During his career, Jim won more million-dollar jury verdicts than any other trial lawyer in the country. In tribute, the Temple University Law School now bears his name. Today, we are proud to carry on Jim’s legacy as we continue to fight for injury victims in Philadelphia and beyond.

The Beasley Building

The offices of The Beasley Firm are located in what used to be an Episcopal Church. In 1894, the church housed a beautiful pipe organ and stained glass windows. Over the next century, the building was transformed into a medical college, uniform company, and even a nightclub before our firm restored it to its original glory. As a modern touch, we commissioned a five-story mural on the back of our building that is now a landmark part of the Mural Arts walking tour through Philadelphia.

The Temple University Beasley School of Law: A Legacy

Jim Beasley, Sr. earned his law degree from the Temple University Law School, which he attended on the GI bill. He never forgot the life-changing opportunities he received there and, in 1999, donated $20 million to create a scholarship fund and provide the school with additional operating resources. Mr. Beasley, Sr. has since helped many students who did not have the means to attend law school on their own access the same excellent education he did.
