Paul Lauricella knows what justice means. For five years he was an Assistant District Attorney in Nassau County, New York, where he prosecuted drug dealers, rapists, arsonists and armed robbers. He brings the same sense of justice to his work on behalf of people who’ve been victimized by professional negligence, institutional indifference and corporate greed.

Paul is a graduate of Hofstra University where he received a BA in Political Science, graduating “magna cum laude” and “Phi Beta Kapa.” Paul graduated cum laude from Villanova School of Law in 1982, finishing well within the top ten percent of his class. At Villanova, Paul served on the Law Review, and Moot Court Board, and was inducted into the Order of The Coif, an honorary legal scholastic society.

Paul is a partner with the Firm and has been working here since 1987. Trained by legendary trial lawyer Jim Beasley, Paul has won multi-million-dollar verdicts against psychiatrists, surgeons, general practitioners, gynecologists and radiologists. He’s won million-dollar verdicts against orthopedists, cardiologists, oral surgeons and urologists. Paul has also won verdicts against corporations which have marketed unsafe products and against those which have engaged in illegal employment practices. Paul also practices within the specialty of intellectual property and trademark law. He has most recently represented the estate of legendary Philadelphia broadcaster John Facenda in connection with the unauthorized use of Mr. Facenda's voice and likeness in television advertising.

In addition to his responsibilities at The Beasley Firm, Paul is a regular contributor to the Michael Smerconish radio program, where he provides comedy as "Liberal Paul." He is an avid runner, and has run three 26.2 mile marathons, including the New York Marathon and Washington D.C.’s Marine Corps Marathon. He has run the Philadelphia half-marathon Distance Run ten times, the Broad Street Run at least six times, and the Philadelphia Bar Association's annual five kilometer race, where he regularly places among the top finishers.

Paul began his career representing the people and he continues to do so today.
